ABOUT AU PAIR USA
Au Pair USA is a cultural exchange program that involves working with children in an American family. It is supported by the US State Department and allows participants to work and live in the US for at least one year. One of the main goals of the program is to improve the English language, within the framework of which the host family finances the language course. Staracademy officially cooperates with the sponsor organization INTRAX, which is an academic and cultural exchange program company. The US Department of State authorizes these organizations to administer similar J-1 visa programs. Within the framework of the program, the participants receive the support of the sponsoring organization, without which participation in the program is impossible. Its main duties are to prepare documents necessary for participation, verify and confirm employment, provide medical insurance and provide 24-hour information support within the US territory.

WHILE IN USA
HOUSING/ACCOMMODATION
During the entire program, the participant of the Au Pair USA program lives in a host family, where she must have a separate room.
FOOD
Both accommodation and meals are provided by the host family. When spending free time outside the home, meals are already the responsibility of the applicant.
SALARY
Minimum pay starts at $215 per week. The sponsoring organization sets the lower limit for remuneration. However, the actual payment depends on the agreement between the family and the applicant.
